Hi everyone, I probably won't post everyday now just because some days the only thing new going on is what Kirk ate and you might get tired of hearing about that. Anyway, he did eat some cornbread and beans, applesauce and chicken for lunch. Not a whole lot but it's getting better. We also have an appointment with Dr. Swan who travels between Abingdon and Marion. We've heard he is really good. We really liked Dr. Blow and especially the nurses on 2 West, but this way he can take his treatments in Marion which is even. We are going to ask him to work with our doctor in Cleveland as well just because they have been so good with everything that's happened.
Kirk is feeling really good and he even rode to Marion with me today. Everyday he seems to be getting more strength we just need to fatten him up. Hopefully that will come as well. Thanks again to everyone for everything especially the prayers.

I have been diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is of unknown primary which means they do not know where it originated. I have several tumors on the bone. I have be working with the Cleveland Cancer Center and an oncologist in Abingdon. This site is for my friends and family to see how I am doing each day. Thanks for checking in. Dr. Swan was my Oncologist and he is a super nice person. The wait time in his office is extremely long but he is so dedicated to each patient. His nurses are great too! I don't think you will be disappointed in the care you get from Dr. Swan. He was trained and worked with with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic in Texas which is pretty impressive. Good Luck!

I notice that there aren't as many responses to your page as there were for awhile. This may be because we were getting the blog at school, but as of Tuesday, it has been blocked by the IT department. We are hoping it will be unblocked early next week.
Just remember that so many. many people continue to pray daily for your healing, and we share your family's joy that you are at home at last.
