PRAISE GOD!! Our prayers are being answered. The tumor in the tube is benign! They are waiting for a room to open up for him in Cleveland. Instead of taking the helicopter they will be going to Tricities airport in an ambulance then a plane will take them to Cleveland. Continue to keep Kirk in your prayers. I will update you again as soon as we hear more.

I have been diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is of unknown primary which means they do not know where it originated. I have several tumors on the bone. I have be working with the Cleveland Cancer Center and an oncologist in Abingdon. This site is for my friends and family to see how I am doing each day. Thanks for checking in. The thought just occurred to me ... when they draw blood is it orange? I think I've heard Kirk say he "bleeds orange" and I'm just wondering if there's any truth to that?
(Since these comments are being printed out I hoped my question might bring a smile to Kirk's face.)
We are praying for you Kirk. Sunday at church we mentioned you by name and asked that God would demonstrate His power through all of this. We are trusting that much praise and glory will come of this.

This is wonderful news! It is nice to pray and give thanks for answered prayers as well as asking for healing. Monica told me that when she talked to you on the phone today that you were asking about some bleachers. Geez, you never stop do you? I guess that is predictable coming from you because when you start something you don't quit until you see it through to the end. Even now when you should be concentrating on getting well. This is just one reason that you mean so much to our community. You are a very unselfish, giving and caring person. My prayer for you and your family tonight is for peace and understanding. I hope that you have a safe trip to Cleveland and send more good news our way real soon. Remember that we Love all you guys!!
