March 21st

Talked to Laura this afternoon. She said that they are doing the stint tomorrow. She was not sure of the time, just sometime tomorrow. He is settled in a room and resting. She said that the doctor told them that after the procedure he would have immediate relief and he should be able to eat. Please continue to pray that the stint is successful and he does okay. Thanks.

Monica

Dear cousin,

Just another "bump" on the long road to recovery. Stay focused
on the "battle plan". That SOB
will soon be on the run.
(There will be a german chocolate
cake waiting on you when you are able!)
Love you,

Linda R.

Hi Kirk,
We just read about he stent. I know it will be work to let your food pass. I had a stent in an artery about two years ago and it was a "piece of cake". I will be happy to join you in having a piece of german chocolate cake from Linda R. Love from Richmond.

Kirk, Laura, and all the family.
I am keeping up with you and sending up prayers. I recall your 6th grade poster picture of the big red barns;it was so bright and cheerful and something I always remember. You and all your family will enjoy being there together again soon on just such a bright and sunny day.

Kirk,

Hang in there, everyone back home praying for you and yours. Before you know it you'll be on the road to recovery. When you get home I'll cook something wonderful to go along with the chocolate cake!!. You name it, I'll cook it.

Take care and love to everyone.
